This is a scam 1000% they call you from a random number and leave a message about a legal case # and then ask you to call this number back. they give you no information about who they work for. Only a "legal Locator" is trying to contact you or someone you know about a pending court case. It's B.S. But I like to call them back, and immediately hang, up several times a day, just for fun.

This is a debt collector who purchased an old debt of my late husband's (he died 10 years ago) and then tried to collect it from me by offering to settle a $3500 debt for $1000. I told the man that I am 81 years old, widowed, live with relatives, and have no money or assets other than my vehicle. He then took on a smart alecked tone and told me they would sue me and obtain a lien against my paid-for vehicle. I know they cannot do anything to collect the debt from me because it was my husband's and not mine. I most heartily recommend that anyone who receives a call from this number simply hang up on the caller.
