this number called and on the caller ID, it read "Do Not Answer This."

called from a different phone the number 843-460-6106 on July 28th 2008, and it answered as SAM's registration renewal; I've pressed the option 1 and quickly was transferred to a representative who identified herself as a Sam's rep and provide her first name... couldn't verify if really was from Sam's Club, but yet requested that my cellphone number was removed from their list. The rep confirmed the number as removed from the list. My curiosity is that I've listed my cellphone number before in the "non-call Government list".

I also got a call from 843-460-6106...Why don't they ID themselves, I have finally realized that if you have call blocker on your phone, you can only block calls that are within your Area Code Only....that is the pits.

I don't answer any call that doesn't have a name and then it has to be a name of someone I know. I've gotten multiple calls of TOLL FREE CALL ID. I told one a couple of months back that I was on national do not call list. They just c****ed their number.

Got 2 more calls from this number, they still have not left a message. I think this is a scam.

I called the number and was told it was a "special offer from Sam's Club."  This number has appeared on my caller ID many times for weeks.  I asked to be removed from their list.  We'll see if that helps.
