Leave a CommentThey stated they could lower my CC % but couldn't. Unfortunately I was desperate at the time and signed up.I've fixed some of my problems on my own. They sent me a cancelation letter for a refund in 30 days but nearly 90 days have passed and after numerous calls no refund.I,m filing complaints with every consumer agency that I can. They always say they sent it to their accounting office and I've been approved but won't connect me anyone in accounting.SCAM.I never give up and will find a way to recover my $$.Continue to file complaints and we will bring this company down.
Their rating now is an F and they deserve it, they did me so wrong, glad they helped you , i wish i could say the same
Good for you, I was just going to attempt to file a small claim, i cannot find the owners information so i am going to try to call them
Do not trust it, they have ripped me off for 789.00 i am currently trying to recover my money, they are a joke !!!!
Pro Active Planning Solutions, Tempe AZ, Do not do business with this outfit it is a SCAM they cost me $789.00 for fees could not lower interest rates. Did not receive information package until 90 days after phone call. They broke their contract 3 differant ways with us. They refuse to refund money. I filled complaints with Federal Trade Commission, Arizona Better Business Bereau. Arizona Attorney Generals Office Consumer Protection Division. They stated mine was the first complaint filled. I was going to file Small Claims Court Action in State of Washington local county was told by court was a waste of time, do to Jurisdiction issue. Small Claims action must be filled in Jurisdiction of Business (Tempe Arizona, Mericopa County). If not appeal would be filled by Pro Active Planning Solutions and case thrown out. I am attempting to contact an Attorney in Tempe Arizona so far they all want money up front, it would cost more than if I just take the loss. I am checking for Class Action Lawsuit have not found any yet. Anybody who lost money with this outfit needs to file complaint with above Agencies. Please do or we all lose. You can file a complaint on line with your com****r. With numerous complaints Arizona will have to do so****ing if you do not file complaint you will not get your money back.I have been fighting these people for 9 months now. I am not giving up.
I was persuaded to give them $595 through Visa, but became dubious within hours. I phoned to tell them that my credit card company had agreed to stop payment and that I was informing them as a courtesy. They put someone on the line who angrily informed me that I couldn't do that. I replied that I had, indeed, done so already. She was furious and said that they had my recorded consent... they would take me to court and (this is verbatim)..."You will LOSE!" I sent a certified letter to their Arizona address and requested a signature acknowledging receipt. I requested immediate cancellation of my "membership" per my attorney's advice. He is anxious to pursue criminal charges a***nst the owner and executives of the company in the event that they persist in collection efforts. We've determined that a class-action lawsuit mat already be under way. In addition, we''ve contacted the Office of the AZ State Attorney General, the Federal Office of Consumer Affairs (which investigates Internet fraud) and the Governor's Office in my home state of Georgia to advise them of the unscrupulous practices of Proactive Planning Solutions. It appears that pending litigation, poor internet publicity and objections from the major credit card companies have contributed to their imminent demise. Avoid all of this turmoil and **** UP when phone solicitors call your number. Let's put them all out of business!!
This place cAlled my house claiming they could lower my rates as long as I was in good standingwith my accounts as long as I gave out my info when I insisted they wait for my husband who deals with the finances they would agree the contiue trying to get my credit card numBers and social they called from a number 6027148136 I called it back after ****ing up and it was a voice mail I left message insisting if this wasn't a scam I would need a corprate number to confirm a girl called later that night from what seemed like a cell phone this time numbber blocked and still refused to give me a call back number claiming the web site would reasure me...conveintly the web site is"under contruction" and all I found was a lot of warnings a***nst this scammmer who also claimed the card holder wasn't nessasary my 10 year old could make the desions on our card as long as he was listed. Thank god I didn't give out our info!
Got the same story as others here. I refused to give cc number twice. He said I could check them out on web (proactiveplanningsolutions.com). Tried it and it says they are under construction. How convenient!!!
I just saw this message, I posted a reply on another page but thought I would put it here too. I did use this company after hesitation because of the call I got. Fortunately they are legit. I enrolled about 4 months ago. They were able to reduce the rates on 6 out of 8 of my accounts, and I am saving about 380 monthly in interest because of it. I am sure this program isn't for everyone, but it helped me for sure. Its always good to be cautious. I looked them up on the BBB before enrolling and they have a good rating, any complaints they have had have all been resolved, which from what my attorney was telling me was a good thing. Best of luck to everyone!
Don't be persuaded to do business with this company. The service they provide is merely educational...as indicated in small print at the bottom of their website: proactiveplanningsolutions.com -"NOTICE: Proactive Planning Solutions, hereafter referred to as PPS, is not a debt management company. PPS does not negotiate or take any other action on your behalf directly with your creditors, but PPS will educate you and show you the best ways for YOU to negotiate with your creditors. PPS will not pay your debts, and will not receive or otherwise control your funds to distribute those funds to your creditors. PPS will not improve your credit record, history, or rating, but will educate you and show you how you can save money and on how YOU can control your own personal financial situation." They target people who are struggling with debt. Be smart, educate yourself...all the information you need to****ist you in resolving your credit card debt is available right here on the internet...absolutely free. Never share your social security number or credit card information with ANYONE over the telephone.
I got the same call from differnt numbers, 203, even 716 are code (which is mine), then the guy told me he was in AZ! I got a few calls took one and asked all the same questions, told me they would be able to help me and someone would be calling me back! They did, turns out that they wanted to charge my cc 495.00 for there services, but saying that I would be saving at least 150.00 a month on inerest when the call my cc companies on my behalf and have them reduce my interest rate to 5% fixed for life. If I was no happy they would give me my money back. Told him I will not give him my cc number over the phone, until I look into it more and asked him to send me so****ing, told me he can't I have to put cc down first. I told him no, the he got all ****y with me, told me "I quess you don't want to save money, that is your loss" Then gave me his website and told me to look at the BBB.org. I think I will call my cc companies myself!!!! see if this federal funding thing is ture!!!!
This company,PPS has called me several times saying they can lower my interest rates on my credit cards. They were very pushy about getting a credit card number from me as well. I did not give them one. The rep. said their grade from BBB was a "C." Not a very good rating as far as I'm concerned. Another post on this site said it was actually an "F."Doesn't sound lagit to me.
I had the same thing happen to me. AZ company calling from my area code in IA. A***n PPS, still trying to determine if this is a legit thing. Anybody having luck or reservations? Bad experiences?
Same company called me from Mesa AZ different phone#8778980109, adament about getting one of my credit card #s.When I said I would check it out on-line w/BBB they ***g up and never called back!! BBB has them rated as a "F" so beware!!
They call me as well and do not leave any messages. I wish that I could block them. I have no credit cards either.

I pick up, say*****o twice and then they **** up. I never hear another person on the other end of the line.10/23 - 3:52pm, 2:21pm, 1:50pm, 10/22 - 5:32pm, 1:40pmYou'd think with how much they call me they might actually want to speak to me.
I've been called twice today on my cell. No message left. Called back the number and it's not in service. Definitely a scammer....
they have been calling me multiple times a day for the past few days and i haven't answered and they haven't left any messages...Just from reading other responses I now know who they are.
this has got to be some kind of scam. Said so****ing about the Fed lowering interest rates and that might qualify me for lower interest rate on my credit card. Except I don't have a credit card. When I said that, she just ***g up.Probably trying to get your credit card number as a scam, beware.
Got a call on my cell from this number and the woman stated that she was with a company called PPS - Proactive Planning Solutions. I asked formw here she was calling and she stated Tempe, AZ (but the area code is for South Carolina!). She stated that this company was created after the $700 billion dollar bail out to help individuals lower their interest rates on their credit cards. A few questions that were ranges (do have interest rate between this and this - balances between this and this) - and then stated that someone will be calling me back in a half hour to help. She claims that is won't c****e my credit but will help pay off balances sooner and that is what portions of the bail were designed to d.
