Lied and acted like social security
Wanted to help with my application and they verified my parents madien name and city I was born with date of birth. Was a man rambling on about he has worked for them for 30 years
Asked for my SSN right off the bat. I didn't give it to her and she got upset and claimed "this is not a bogus call" and claimed she was with "Charleston SS office". I asked for that address and instead of giving me that address, she became even more upset. I laughed and ***g up. She called back 5 times after that but I did not answer. Definitely a scam so don't fall for it.
ROBO
Called and pretended to be a Social Security agent from a local office needing personal information. She was very convincing...don't fall for it. Red flags: called at 5:30pm on a Friday and needed the information immediately; asked for parents names, birthday and social security number; said she couldn't stay on the line long and to call back Sa****ay morning at the number she provided.
Called twice while I was asleep name of caller Ex: the IRS, XYZ Insurance Co., James Doe. It seems even when you block numbers spam callers will always find a way to contact you.
