Leave a CommentSite identified itself as Microsoft Windows Technical Support and I was warned to not turn off computer or change screen, accompanied by a piercing alarm sound. Advised to contact technical support at 1-844-449-7953. Did not know if this was a scam, so looked for Microsoft Windows Technical Support to verify if this was actual number or a scam to get control of my information. That was a waste of time, just went round in circles. I am not a tech nerd, so I found no help there. Turned PC off for a couple of hours, then back on and the "warning" and shrieking alarm were gone. This phone number did not produce any business name or info on Been Verified, so I presume it was a scam.
