I received a message on my computer stating my computer virus program detected a virus and that I needed to call this number immediately (within the next 5 minutes) and the techs would help "walk me through" the process of removing this virus, the pop up even had the Microsoft Windows logo, i believe it is a ransomware, because after calling the number, I foolishly allowed him remote access to my computer, he ran a diagnostic and said I had over 2000 viruses and that it would cost me $169.00 for him to fix it ,remotely, now I can not use my new lapyop
