Have received two calls from this number once in 2019 and recently in 2021 - they have the last 3 digits of my ssn and state they are representing an "EZ cash" place where I was supposed to have taken out a loan & did not repay. They would not give me their names, their companies name or address - have never taken a pay day loan ever or EZ cash type of loans either- Think this is probably a scam of some sort .
Left voicemail about a matter that need to be resolved before legal matter are taken
This number calls my phone Monday through Friday at the same times. They claim to have information regarding loans that has been taken out in your name from your nearest or previous location. They also call from (904)615-0871. They explain to you that the matter is vital and you should call them back. I did it twice. Only providing them with the information that they have given me. Then, I called the corporate offices to see if they had me on file. One doesn't have any check cashing places within my state. The other was a dead ringer but doesn't have me on file for any loans. They asked me to settle the payment but I said that I will be disputing it. I also asked why didn't this matter show up on my credit report. Which, I have been repairing for years now. They gave me a sorry excuse and explanation stating that they did not have to report it to the credit bureau. If the account is more than seven years old, why are you just calling me about it? Seems fishy. My advice. Be smart out here. These people get rich off of your ability not to ask the right questions.
