After more research and a callback, he said I am under an investigation for prescribing controlled substances however, I don’t have prescription authority so at that point, I knew it was a scam
It's a total scam. They don't have access to DEA numbers. How do these dudes even get an 844 number to return a call?
I believe this was a scam. They called claiming my nursing license and DEA was under investigation for controlled substance prescriptions. I don’t prescribe meds as a nurse.
