Leave a CommentThe IRS would NEVER threaten jail, or to come to your house and say that they are going to ransack it. It’s a scam by people who want you to give them a CC number to catch up on what you may owe on back taxes. I’ve never been late or paid to little, so I invited them to come over! After I asked for their name and IRS Employee number, then turned around and called the real IRS in Washington, they said IRS would never call or make threats! If you truly owe, they send a letter! Don’t EVER give these callers a CC number! But get as much info from them as you can and then call your local IRS or Washington, they are aware of what this scam is!!!!
