Got a text from info@qlc-*****rg..."(NOTICE) Your Valley National Bank bill service is expired, for renewal please call us toll-free 845.210.3586 ASAP."   I do not bank at Valley National, nor do I do biz with qlc-*****rg, which seems to be a healthcare provider in Mont****

I received a text from this number yes****ay and I called the bank's customer service number and they said they have received a lot of calls regarding this fraud....I dont even have an account with them....

I received this text message yes****ay (3/2/08), as did my 13 year old son, and my sister. I just called Valley National Bank and they told me that this is a fraudulent message. I checked their website and they have a notice to delete this fraudulent message immediately.

I also got a text message purportedly from an e-mail address "[email protected]" stating "(NOTICE) Your Valley National Bank bill service is expired, for renewal please call us toll us toll-free 845.210.3586 ASAP"I don't know the sender and I don't bank at Valley National.  Also, area code 845 is certainly not toll-free.  I called the Montclair Art Museum in NJ and found out that they don't use that particular form of e-mail address anymore.  This is clearly a phishing scam.
