I have been getting a call from this # for a Clark Antico. Is this one of those foreign #'s from the Caribbean Island phone scam company's that puts you on hold when you call and charges $9 per minute?

I just missed the call from them and when I returned the call, the most obnoxious SOB s****ed right in that I owed $80 to an MRI outfit in NYC called East River Imaging.I did use that place and when billed for my two $40 co-pays, paid by credit card and the matter should have been closed.I conveyed that to the **** on the phone very politely, and asked that he check with East River and confirm that payment was made.Her proceeded to yell at me that "he's not doing nothing".  He said that I better get my credit card statements in to him to prove that I paid the money, or he will report it to the ...I told him I was out of town and had no access to...The ******* ***g up on me.Yes****ay (two weeks after that conversation) I received a collection notice from these same people.This phone # is on the letterhead and they are called ICR (Immediate Credit Recovery).How can I make them go away?  There should be legislation passed towards this end.

They will not stop. After I got my cable phone about a year ago, the calls s****ed coming for a Victoria Holmstead. Everyday, s****ing at 8:15 am lasting until 8:45 every hour Sunday-Monday. I have told them time and a***n I know of no Victoria. I called my cable company yes****ay  and asked them how long do they wait before they re-issue a telephone number, she said 30 day's. I canceled my phone service with them and will just use my cell. Unbelievable

Keeps asking for someone who I don't know about. I've had my cell for over four years.

I just called them back and told them to remove my number.I said "You keep calling me for someone I've never heard of, and there's no option to say "this is a wrong number"" and got a very snotty accusation that I was rude.... I wasn't followed by "your number has been removed" and her ****ing up on me.If they call a***n, I WILL become rude.

I get these, too. If I answer, I am immediately put on hold, and then after a few seconds a message begins, asking for someone I don't know (guy who had the phone # before me, I am guessing). If I don't answer, they record the identical message on my ma****e. Agreed, there should be SOME option for letting them know you are NOT the person they want. Have these people ever heard of Google? I bet they'd find more people if they used information freely available on the Internet than harassing people who are only guilty of having phone numbers.

It is annoying to have someone call your number you answer and get a answering ma****e to stay on the line.  I just block this number for follow up because I have no bad debt.

sorry rose...your wrong i did tell them they have the wrong number and they still call me now i tape the phone calls and after five calls i can sue for harassment..your company ICR has two more calls to make to me for a law suit and being there so ****** i know I'm going to get my lawsuit

there a collection agency if you just answer the phone and take care of your bill or tell them they have the wrong number the calls will stop people

I also have been receiving calls from 845-296-1010.  They sometimes leave part of a message and other times no message is left.  Working nights I do not need these calls in the early daytime.

I'm getting calls like everyone else but they do have my name well my divorced name.  but when I tried to call back they want me to pay $5 or so to get a 'real' number to call them...ugh.  sounds like a scam to me but I'm worried I really do have a 'false' debt somewhere.  why can't they just have you talk to a real person.

This is the fifth time this person has called me and asked for someone that does not live here. I am tried of them calling this number for this person. Has a man voice as a back up asking for this person then saids if it isn't this person  then **** up. I have ***g up every time before they finished and they still keep calling. I am on a no call list and this person has been reported to the Mass no call claim, I hope  they get the $1000 fine they get for calling a no call number. I believe with all the complaints I have read online that it is a collection agency

i too am getting calls from this number daily. sometimes they leave messages, sometimes not. the messages they do leave are so *****ic. "this call is for john murphy, if this is not john murphy please **** up. if this is john murphy please listen to this message in private, we will pause for you to get some place private......'' where's the option if this is NOT JOHN MURPHY!!!! gee, ever think that this john murphy may have given you a fake number!?!??!??!? i cannot believe someone is getting paid to make these idiotic calls.and even if they did reach this guy (assuming that john murphy is his real name) what's he gonna do? say oh, yeah, sorry i'll get you that money right away!!!

the ability of someone ot throw a number out without confirmation resultsin a lot of collections calls this should be a crime to purposely misdirect someone via this ****od.. The time and money lost vis this constant ***ting has got to be passed onto the consumer eventually!

I have received several calls from this number. Who is it?

I received a call from this number and missed it, they did not leave a message. unfortunately i was expecting a call around this time so i called back the number and they said its some ICR debt collector, so by now i was confused because i had no debth and i was dumb enough to give the man who i spoke to my name. he had my cell phone under another name and i said no that is not my name, so then he asked for my social security number to see if i am in their system and i was dumb enough to give it to him, he said they do not have me in their system...should i be worried?

I handle calls like this two ways.1. Answer it once and explain very carefully that you are not the person they are looking for, ask for supervisors to make sure the message gets through.2. If they ignore the first report of incorrect information, then forward your phone to a recently produced Motorola phone and restrict the calls. They get a message saying that you are not accepting calls from them.  People in your Motorola phone book will still get through.  :-)

I get call from 845-296-1010 regularly.  Always automated message asking for Hernandez.  Very annoying.

me too, several times daily. but no message just that annoying phone off the hook sound. Never ever leaves a message. who the***** is this??? I called them back and it said it is a "debt collector"

I get a call from 845-296-1010 at least once a week, usually 3-4. Always an automated message for Christiana Polite (sp?).
