Thought it was my sister in law from NY. Called from (845) 450-8678 and said I was approved for a loan and then asked to pay by a deposit by debit or eBay card. Scam

Didn’t pick up- was surprised to get a call from across the Pond as I’m a Brit with no one I know in NY. Guessed it was prob spam.

She said she had approved a loan for 2000- 8000.

Says it allied advance loans llc and claim I'm approved for 5,000$ but I have to pay 250$ by debit or ebay card..pretty sure it's a scam..cannot find the number on any of the allied websites..and when search the number it says white plains new york..email- [email protected]
