The caller named herself as Courtney and used a real law firms number, when I called the firm and Courtney at the number directly, the real firm said it is someone with spam and they are trying to figure out the bottom of the situation. The caller said I needed to call back TODAY.

“Goodmorning My name is Jessica I’m calling from Javier Law Pc regarding a college textbook that you didn’t return extremely important you contact me back today to address this matter please contact our office at *insert this number*” I called and she knew my name and said I owed like 200 dollars for some book I didn’t return which I returned all my books.

Said she worked at a law firm and that I needed to call her back TODAY

Claimed to be Verizon calling to say if I didn't return defective device recently replaced with refurbished device, I would be charged. I returned the device 2 weeks ago and confirmed by tracking that it was delivered, so this is obviously some weird spam scam.

Hadn't turned in a phone after buying another verizon phone.

They left a voicemail "hello this is a message from Verizon wireless we sent you a new device as part of your recent device upgrade and have not yet received"

For a book I didn't return to college. They were going to take legal action against me if I didn't call back by end of day.

Used my name and claimed to be calling about a legal matter I had pending in their office - The Legal Office of John Ritter - and that it would be in my best interest to call back.

Claimed to be from law office of John Ritter on pending matter. Had to call back by 4:30 or she would be forced to escalate etc. Crooks!

keep say bout a car I that was towed and they crushed and they want me to pay for them crushing it and making money by doing so. I told them I sold the car a long time ago and they keep call even though I sold the car 2 years ago.

Spam...said to call the number to cancel account of $1500 debit will automatically come out of my account.

I was wanted for drug trafficking and human trafficking

They said I was speaking to a federal law enforcement officer and they would sue me.

If I didnt call them back at this number they will take legal action against me.

Said they were Amazon and I needed to call them back as a large purchase had been made on my account.

Said they were Amazon wanting me to authorize the purchase for purchase of Iphone
