I also got a call from an "Officer Denzil Anderson"...he said I had "a serious issue a***nst me and to call back immediately or God help me". When I wouldn't give him what he wanted and continued to ask him questions, he said he would talk to his "senior officer" and call me back "directly". That was yes****ay..haven't heard from him. I will be getting in touch with my local law enforcement and the FBI regarding this.If he calls me back, I will conitnue to ask him questions and if he doesn't answer them, I will let him know I will be in touch with the FBI and Attorney General. I am so sorry this has happened to all of you also.

Holy cow I just had this happen to me!!  Showed up  on my phone as 1019.  Left me a message so I called the guy.  He has SO MUCH information about me it's scary!!  He's got my social, the bank I bank with, name of my best friend and my mom, etc,etc!!  I told him to stuff it and ***g up and he called bac****  it was the "Officer DENZIL ANDERSON" and the number was in Denver (which I thought was weird since i live in C/S) it was 970-344-3001.  How do we stop these idiots!???!?!?!?!

Frustrated: My husband doesnt really know what to do. They are now calling our parents which is so annoying and saying we have either insurance fraud or financial fraud. Its ridiculous. Without knowing who this guy is or having a number to call him back on we are just as frustrated. Sorry I couldnt help you more.

Ive received this call also and this individuals name was Officer ERIC SMITH with the Law and Investigations through Cash Net Marketing From Albany, New York with a heavy Indian accent (from INDIA) the number i received was the same to call back on and like the 20th time of them calling they forgot to block there number or sumthing and it came up as 615-724-7999 and of course its a number thats not in service... *** are these people ****** were Americans, we know wen sums ones talkn ********* but there making there way furher west ***

DO NOT ACCEPT A CALL FROM THESE FRAUDS!!!  It shows up as 1010 or 1-1015.  A "Robert Wilson"  (with a middle eastern/Indian accent) left me a voice mail stating he was with the Department of Law Investigation and he urged me to contact them @ 845-765-9492 immediately due to a legal matter.  He also contact a friend of mine on her cell phone early on the same day stating that it was very important to contact me.  I did call back, the individual (not identifying himself) stated that I was being sued and needed information.  I asked them where is he from and he said the Department of Investigation in New York. I asked a***n what this was about & it c****ed to someone stole my iden***y.  I advised that I am uncomfortable with this situation since I never received anything in writing and then he tried to****ure me that they've written me via usps & e-mailed.  At that point I advised I will be reporting them.

Call came through my cell.  1010 was on the display, so I did no answer.  The voice message was in halting English for the "Legal Investigation Department".  He said he needed to speak with me asap regarding a criminal matter.  He left the phone number as 845 765 9492.  I did not attempt to return the call.

BEWARE!!! FILE REPORTS TO THE FTC, FBI and your ATTORNEY GENERAL!I have received many calls and messages from this number. Here are the details of the second call I actually answered after already answering one yes****ay and was threatened. Received a call on my work phone, Thursday 4/22/10 @ approx 12:25pm. Was informed I was speaking with Officer Robin Wilson. He stated that I needed to take down his name and call back number for “my rights.” He had me repeat back the phone number of 845-765-9492. Once I did this, he said he was going to transfer me to his Sr. Officer who would then go over the affidavit filed a***nst me. He put the phone down loudly, I could hear plenty of other people on the phone in the background, and then came back on stating he was now Sr. Officer Jack Smith and that he had his Jr. legal counselor Robin Wilson attempting to contact me because he needed to review my affidavit with me. It was the same exact guy playing both Robin and now Jack. He gave me a case number and then proceeded to ask me to verify my social security number, home address, email and place of employment. I refused to give this information and asked what this “affidavit” was regarding. He would not give specifics and just stated that legal action was going to be taken upon me. I asked that per my rights, that any information regarding this case be sent to me in writing. He stated that he could not do that and in order to do so I needed to have my lawyer give him a call. I then asked that he stop calling me at work because it was harassment and that I couldn’t receive personal calls. He stated that if he did not hear back from my lawyer in 2 days he would continue to call my cell and work as he pleased. He then preceded talking fast as I told him that their operation was illegal and I ***g up the phone. This is the 10th or so call I have received between my cell and work in the past 3 days. In their initial call yes****ay, they demanded my banking info to pay some $600 debt that they would not identify to me. I believe this is some sort of phone extortion/scam to scare people into paying them money over the phone. BEWARE! PLEASE FILE REPORTS EVERYTIME THEY CONTACT YOU. IF WE DONT GET THIS ON THE RADAR OF THE FTC, FBI AND ATTORNEY GENERAL THEY WILL KEEP ON!!! KNOW YOUR RIGHTS, READ THE FDCPA.

Just received a call on my cell and work phones.  I did not answer as the caller ID only appeared as "1015" and I do not answer unknown calls.  A voice message was left at both numbers.  A man with a distinctly Asian accent identified himself as "Officer Anderson at Department of Law and Investigation" with a "very important and time sensitive matter for [me]".  He asked me to return his call at 845-765-9492, but it sounded very suspect to me so I looked it up here first.  I will not be calling back.

Person name Neil Johnson saying i needed to fax him my credit card number so they could withdraw 600.00 dollars from account they must think people are ******.

He told me that his name was Officer John Morrison.

Wow. Didnt realize this was happening to so many people. This just happened to me today in the same way everyone else is stating, however I am a little worried since they do have my address and social. Anonymous i know you said your husband is an officer what does he recomend with this? I did go to my local police but they werent much help.

Wow...just read the other posts...My husband just got ***g up on and he is an ACTUAL officer. LOL Well the guy told him his name was Mike Walters and he got very very nasty with my husband. He would not tell him what the matter was about and then told him that he would tell him what to write and what to do. My husband kept asking what the legal matter was and who the "officer" was that he was talking to and then "Mike" called him ****** and ***g up on him. The number given cannot be called, God help this guy if says anything about **** or anything ***ual. That call will be tracked so fast.  When this guy left a message it was very threatening saying that he was calling from a law dept and he had better call before so****ing happens to him. This must be stopped. It was an Arab voice as well.

Got a message today from this person.  A heavily accented man stating he's with dept. of investigation or some non sense. Hope they are stopped.

Message from women strong accent at my work Dept of Law Investigation - with the federal government call my sons and now my work.  Told me not to interupt her - I would not verify information so she told me the affidavit a***nst my social security.  Gave me some case number and told me to call her back when I was ready to listen to her without interupting her - she was very rude.  I'm sure it's a***nst the law to call me at work.

This caller called and said that he was with the department of law and enforcement and that he could not go into further detail but it would be in my best interest to call him back at this number immediately.  He then preceded to call a friend of mine and threaten their life.  Will prosecute if I ever find out who this person is.  He is calling from New York stating he is a law officer, giving the name of Alex Williams, has an arab voice.

this caller said ne was going to **** my wife my daughter  and my mother and i could **** on his genitailia plus he left in on my voice mail so i saved it  i will prosicute to the fullest if we can find out who this is!!!!
