Someone who said he was named John Chandler from Nicor called from this number to discuss c****es in my gas bill and then wanted to verify that I was customer on the Nicor bill. He asked for my SS# (so he could prove to his boss that he called) and got insulting when I let him know this did not sound kosher to me. ( "I don't mean to be degrading but are you not intelligent enough to understand this will save you money").Beware.

rec'd 2 calls frm this # in last 2 days, no message...  847 is an area code here in northern IL, the "next area code over"...  rec'd a call from another 847 last week that did leave a message saying to give them a call about our "natural gas" bill, but their callback # was a 1-866 #...
