Fair Credit Collection Practices Act 15 U.S.C.S. Section 1692 says a party cannot call a third party dealing with debt collection. Chase has been ask 2 time to stop but they started again and over the past 3 days they have called 11 times at my phone number looking for my 31 year old son.

They are very annoying and call at all hours of the day; don't leave messages, so you are not able to call them back.

This is a waste of time getting this call. I've never been late on a payment then out of the blue I get this clown named Mark Anthony ??? He insists on getting an 800 dollar payment on the over the phone. Sounds fraudulent. Don't give them any information and check your credit report. Most Banks and credit unions give you a free report once a year.

I keep getting calls from 847-488-6050 at my business. Caller asks for a former employee. When I tell them this person no longer works here (primarily due to receiving too many personal & collection calls) but they still keep calling. I make it a point to tell employees NOT to give out the company ph. no. when applying for any type of credit. Use you cell phone instead. I can't help these telemarketers and they just cause me needless problems. They are like robots. Then don't function unless someone with authority can push their buttons.

They called my husband's cell phone at 4 different times Thursday 9/17/09. The first two times, he did not answer and they did not leave a voicemail. The third time, he did pick up and an automated voice said, "Please hold for an important message." Then, he hears the automated voice say, "All of our representatives are busy; please wait for an important message." Obviously, he wasn't going to wait around and just hung up. After the fourth call, someone actually left a voicemail. Not sure if it was a man or a woman as it was very hard to hear them. They said the message was for my husband, their name (didn't catch it), and that they were from Chase. They said they had some extremely urgent financial information to discuss with him and to please return their call today at

I did hear at least one other man in the far background talking to somebody else during the voicemail. I did a reverse phone lookup and the number is a landline based in Elgin, IL. The same website that has information on this number (http://www.intelius.com) apparently also has information on the (888) 638-4956 number. Unfortunately, the free result page does not give a location of the number unlike the report for the (847) 488-6050 number and I can't afford to pay the $4.99 fee for the complete report. ...seems it might really be chase credit card collections... via GC Services out of Elgin IL... they were calling up to 10 times a day... mostly robocall... no one there... but occassionally they call from another # asking for a different person... finally I went into a Chase branch and had them call the number from the branch... someone picked up immediately and did say that it was chase credit card collections looking for someone else but calling my home phone... they called my home one last time and the person said i would be removed from the call list... THEY ACTUALLY HAVE STOPPED CALLING!

I got this number calling me about 8 times in less then one day, and I just bought the number to use with skype. So I googled the number and found this site. I have just blocked it with skype and reported it as spam. This should work for me because I only use this number with skype.Good luck everyone else!!!

This is Chase credit card collections. Chase now also owns Washington Mutual Card Services. If you had a WaMu card, Chase now owns the account.They were calling me because they failed to process a settlement payment with information I gave their representative over the phone. They had switched two numbers in my account number and the transaction failed.I should point out that when I called the number back, I spoke to a live person within 20 seconds of waiting, and the representative was helpful and polite.I would recommend actually talking to these folks if you have an outstanding balance with your WaMu account. The settlement I was offered was 50% of my original outstanding balance with WaMu, and they were willing to set it up in four monthly payments. Considering that the agreement will save me more than $1000 of my principal balance as well as more than $700 of finance charges, overdrafts, and late fees, I think it was worth dealing with them.Chase and several of these other big banks are in loss-prevention mode. They want to close these accounts and get them off the books, and if they can get 50% of what is owed, that's fine. So, at least talk to the reps. It might be worth it.
Keep getting calls from this number several times a day. They never leave a message.
Keep calling 4-5 times daily. Have no account with Chase! Phone is a back office phone number and only used by request. Not published for use. Some how, THEY have this number and keep calling. Can someone stop the calling. Have to increase cell phone cost just to cover the unwanted min being used by these calls.

I think they said they were from Chase bank.Had such a heavy accent (I'm guessing India)that I could not understand them,I had to hang up.I hope if they need something they will consider giving an Amercian a job that can speak English.

This has aroused my suspicion because 847-488-6050 has appeared on my caller ID so many times, I simply cannot believe Chase USA would conduct themselves with such inefficiency after receiving corrected and verifiable information from me! They always are looking for a Cathy Nowolsky. I have told them entirely too many times that they have the wrong number for Cathy. They always want to know who the phone is listed to which forces me to give my name. The latest caller (today)told me she had talked with Cathy Nowolsky in April 2009 and Cathy confirmed that MY telephone number was her telephone number. This woman started out the conversation with a smile in her voice: Cathy?!. That was no collector! Now, this is after at least 4 conversations I have had with them (all with foreign accents) informing them that the telephone number is mine! WHAT DOES IT TAKE? Or is this whole thing a scam?? Seems to me that Chase USA should not only have Cathy Nowolsky's telephone number, but an emergency telephone number and a work telephone number to reach her.
They won't stop calling. It is Chase Bank & they leave no messages. They also call very early on the weekends. They call approx. 10 x a day. Unreal.

This number is NOT Chase. It's a eastern-european based scam. I got a call from them the day after I listed my number on an online directory. They try to get you to disclose all the information on your card including the three digit security number on the back. I imagine that they clone your credit card to go on a shopping spree once you give them your information. If you call them back or give them any information they will keep calling you back. Do not give out any of your account information unless you initiate the call!! Call the 800 number on the back of your chase card to check on your account.

Its been almost a year since I got my phone. As with Mr. "Not Michael Leon", I've repeatedly explained that I am not Christina and requested to remove my phone number from their systems. I am still getting these annoying calls today.

I get one call after another. Some are only one minute apart and will occur several times in a row. I've probably received as many as 30 calls in one day. unbelievable. They start calling at 8:00am and don't stop until 9:00pm.
