George May cold calling.

We had the same thing - his name was Eugene and would not state the purpose of the call.  He said he would call back later after being denied access to our CEO.

Called today 2/26/10 and asked for Owner, I told him what is regarding and he ask if I'm owner, I said a***n what is the purpose of call... then he said "Just answer YES or NO".. I just ***g up.

This company calls constantly and each person who calls asks for the former president who retired 10 years ago. I have repeatedly told them to stop calling, and have reported them to the Do Not Call list a number of times, although I realize that that service is useless. We do not appreciate being harrassed by this company, but they are relentless.

woman called asking to speak to owner, told her owner is not here.  She then said some BS that she previously spoke to the owner, not true its me.  She said she could help our company make money. I said no-thank-you, and ***g up.  She continued to call back 5 times. She was very rude. I finally said you should be used to rejection with a phone solicitation career.

I received a call from a woman at this number, asking to speak with the former Owner, who retired nearly 10 years ago. When I told her this, she asked to speak with "another owner." I had to ask twice what the purpose of the call was before she reponded "It's about a follow-up business meeting..." and continued to speak. I interrupted her with "We're not interested." and ***g up. (How could it be a follow-up meeting if you don't even know who you're calling?) The phone immediately rang a***n and this same number showed up on the caller ID - I did not answer it. I've asked them in the past to stop calling us. I guess they waited a few months and s****ed calling a***n.

Received many calls from this number asking for the owner. When advised the owner is not available the caller says, "I'll call back" and then promptly ****s up.  I *69'd to get their number and called them back.  I was told they are a management consultant firm.  Asked that our number be put on their no call list - we'll see how that works!  These calls are very annoying and we would not ever do business with a company that makes random cold calls.

a woman called and asked for the owner (pronounced his full name and incorrectly). when i told her he wasnt available, she said she'd call back later.

Our switchboard has received numerous calls from this firm. Appears to be some type of Professional Business****essment firm. They will continue to call regardless of you or your staff asking them not to.Seems they have a high turn over.Only can suggest call block on this number or set your caller ID System to your answering ma****e ( server - IT Unit ) to be automatic to the answering unit for all unknown ID's (ie; unknown - out of area - all zero's - all same number such as all one's etc.)By doing this here at our office, keeps these and others from taking up your time with BS calls. If the caller is someone we wish to speak with, they will leave a message and we can return the call. If not..you didn't want to speak with them anyhow.  Right?

This number has called twice and asked to speak to the General Manager (who is never here).  I keep asking if she would like voicemail and each time the answer is no.  So...they keep calling.

Get calls from this company ALL the time!!! Finally got a second to call them back and ask to be off their calling list. Woman was actually VERY VERY polite and helpful!! We'll see if I get anymore calls though!!

These companies must understand that with the downturn in the economy most small businesses are understaffed, having laid employees off to adjust.  When you are mul****asking as a result and you have to stop in the middle of so****ing to answer a phone call from a salesman it is quite annoying.  THIS is why most* people you call are rude-

Wanted the owner. Told him he was never here, which is the truth. He said he'd call back next week. I repeated what I said more clearly and he acted like he understood. I also said our number is on the no call list. He said "no problem". As annoying as these people are, this guy was actually somewhat polite. Surprising.

I called back and asked to be put on a do not call list. They seemed fine with that.

Had several calls from this number all week.  At least 5 times a day and asking for the owner, everytime I would tell her he is not here.  I finally suggested that she leave a message because all his calls get screened.  She got smart with me and finally left her name and number. I googled the number and this came up, glad Im not the only one that is just gonna have to be the receptionist I am and get smart right back.  When calling *67 it listed the number as George S May Company. Number is 847-825-8806.

a lady wanted to talk to our owner, I told her whatever she is calling about our company would not benefit from it! some kind of consulting firm....i thought we got rid of worthless waste of time jobs!

George may company number 8478258806. Called cell number asked who had financial stake in business,who was owner could they talk to them.. Who calles people asking these questions, who is dum enough to answer them? trace the phone number if possible, you dont know they could be calling you from prison asking for ceo owner, asking personal information,

A guy asked for the owner. After I said that he wasn't available, he asked if I had ownership in the company. After saying no, he said "don't worry about it, thanks".

I used to work for a commercial real estate brokerage and we would only ask for the CEO/ CFO. This is pretty common industry practice. Most people were not ****s about it, but we also avoided telling who we were if possible.

Speaker would not give any additional information and insisted with speaking directly to the owner of the company.  No one allows cold calls to a CEO anymore.  Get real.

Lady called and s****ed getting smart with me after i would not give her the information she wanted and would not let her talk to owner.... number came up 511 but i looked up the company and got this one..... just another number to be weary of.
