How 'bout we stop blaming everyone else - and stop pointing fingers at each other?  We can't expect any government Obama, GOP, tea party, etc. to get us out of this one.  We have to s**** taking responsiblity for our selves and act like adults. - - - To get off my soap box and to the reason I visited this site, ACS recovery is a legitimate organization, but they can be a pain in the behind.  ACS doesn't always have accurate data, as demonstrated by other postings, and even after giving them the information they want, they can linger in your life a very long time.  As many companies operate today, they are paid based on a percentage of dollars recovered, therefore, if they think they can get blood from a rock, they will try.  Check your insurance policy regarding ERISA, it may give you ammunition to get them off your back.

Did Obama fire you from your job?  What the***** is wrong with you?  This is how the "free" market works:  it is cheaper for US companies to ship our jobs overseas than to hire Americans.  Large, multinational companies hire lobbyists who convince congress members to give these companies TAX CREDITS or WELFARE to ship your job overseas.  In exc****e, the congress member receives LARGE CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS from the company (this sounds like bribery, because it is.  this is illegal in most democracies, but not here).  This is why GE pays ZERO DOLLARS in US income tax.  Although dems and reps both operate this way, the only members of congress trying to stop the flow of jobs overseas are independents (bernie sanders) and democrats.  Republicans (see Wisconsin) are engaging in the same union-busting activity that began with Regan, this depresses wages and guts the middle class.these are not my opinions.  they are easily verifiable facts.  Here is the part that makes me crazy.  Republicans have been fighting to end your unemployment benefits while they fight to give tax cuts to the wealthiest americans.  Obama, as part of the stimulus, picked up the tab for half of my CO***. Finally, the problem with all healthcare in America is this:  It is Cigna's job as a for-profit corporation to make as much money as it can.  That means pay out as few claims as possible.  Single-Payer national healthcare (Medicare for all) would eliminate these leaches from stealing from you and denying you healthcare.  You should be mad, but you are mad at the wrong people.

Well actually depending on where you live, when you are in a car accident it's no fault, meaning your or the other driver's car insurance has to pay for medical expenses.  I found this out the hard way, tha'ts why they ask if you were in a car accident.

I think this is ACS Recovery, working on behalf of Cigna health insurance.  My car was rear ended and totalled by a distracted driver back in 2007.  An ambulance took my daughter to the emergency room, where she was treated and released.  Cigna is still trying to get out of paying the bill.  I paid my portion, several ***dred dollars, right away.  Cigna needs to pay their part.  Isn't that why we pay premiums?  For them to pay the remainder of a bill that's already been discounted to nearly nothing because of their contract with the health care provider?   Own up to your responsibilities Cigna!

Blame yourself for not having a job, not Obama

Woman with actual US accent allegedly from Cigna who was trying to find out if I work outside the home and have other insurance. They're actually trying to get out of paying claims filed on my husband's insurance. I've been unemployed for six months now, (Thanks Obama) and don't even have CO*** since no one can afford it. ACS Recovery Service showed up on Caller ID.

They are legitimate --or at least for us.  They perform recovery services for our self-insured health plan as a subcontractor for the administrator.

Called me twice, first time I talked to them, they were representing the Mercy Health plan and were trying to develop additional insurance that I might have to cover medical costs. I advised them I did not have duplicate coverage which is the info they were seeking. The second call was when I was not home, they asked my wife if I had ever worked for the federal govt. She said no that I retired from my own business. I suppose they are referring to two part time (2 month) stints working for the census bureaj in 08 and 09. They apparently did not take my word the first time that I had no ther insurance and certainly the fed. govt. does not provide benefits for part time short term employees. I called the number back, had to leave a message, asked them to quit bothering me.

Who is this?  It is listed as ACS Recovery Services.  It is an Illinois phone number that is unlisted.
