An Indian (from India) probably stole info from Sprint and sold the info to call centers in India....call the feds and immigration...Notify Sprint..the Fraud department (talk to managers only) ...take the name and employee numbers from everyone ...do***ent in a letter and send certified/return receipt to the president and ceo of sprint...send copy to everyone on the board of directors...

I finally found out. Their provider is Global Crossing. I called Global Crossing to tell them that this "company" they provide service to is running a scam acting like they are Sprint/Nextel and that they call me non-stop at all hours of the day. Foreign chatter in the background blah blah blah. They said there was nothing that could be done. I told them that since it was a scam and since they knew about it that I'm sure there was. The person spoke with his supervisor and****ured me no, there wasn't...So now I'll contact the Attorney General's office in Chicago where Global Crossing is providing service to this "company" Call Smart (he at least gave me the name. They are in Evanston, IL (according to my research on the Internet). If you do call Global Crossing to complain, you need to dial the resident number, 800-482-4848 and hit 000 in order to bypass all of the automated **** if you aren't a customer.

I am receiving calls from this number daily..and have put the number in my reject file. Who, or what company is doing this?

1st caller from 847-859-5942 answered to the name of Alice Cooper and mentioned that my service contract with Sprint was up.  I receive these call from my cell in Indianapolis IN several times day and night.  It is usually a **** up or 2 quick clicks.I called Sprint who mentioned my contract is up. 1st of all the only way the new caller has my contract information is if Sprint gave it out.  Sprint should correct and block this number as far as I am concerned or I will c****e to a new vender with a new number.  My cell phone is useless turn off otherwise.  We will otherwise c****e all our contracts including work from Sprint soon unless.Sprint customer service, Sprint Compliance, Sprint Fraud Department and Sprint Tech support mentioned there is nothing they can do.  I truely believe this is an internal call from Sprint as a slam etc. Has anyone had any results.

i got a call from 847-859-5942. when i answered ***ody was on the other line. when i called the number back it rang twice then the line went dead.

I have sprint and am receiving the same call several times per day!  It is quite annnoying.

I too have been receiving each and every one of these comments from this #8478595942.  Has anyone had results yet.  LET US ALL KNOW.  Sprint should block this number from ALL and report it.  Loosing another customer!

I have had to turn off my cell phone, because of the frequency of the calls. A question, what are we accomplishing giving these comments to this web site? Can you and will you do anything about it.

I'm getting the calls too.Just got off the phone with Sprint cust. service and they are clueless.  Cant even block the # for me.. offered to c****e my #, but that's unacceptable.Somehow Sprint's info on sprint customers has leaked out.. seems this # only calls Sprint Cell users.

Anyone you has received harrassing phone calls should notify the local authorities so that they can do***ent it and have all the information when they s**** sending subpeonas for the federal lawsuit.

same thing for me, I get 5 or more calls/day on my sprint phone, comes up as an illinois number.  sometimes they say the name of the primary contract owner (my ***her).  when they hear it's not me they **** up... arrrrghhhhh

This number has called three times so far. First was at 4:20pm and the rest were called about 9:25-10 pm.  I called this number back but no response.

I've received two calls from this number today, no message left the first call, and no one responded when I answered the second call. This needs to stop!

I've been receiving calls from this as well as a number from North Carolina,910000000, that also never leaves voicemails. I thought it may have been a collections error, but it sounds like phishing. The hours they call are outside of the rules for sales or collections; and since I'm on the DNC list, they're violating the law.

I've been getting daily phone calls from this number for about two weeks now.  Tonight, I received a call a little before midnight.  This is seriously ridiculous.  When I answer, usually no one responds.  When I answered once, they told me that they were calling from Sprint and that they wanted me to renew my contract. However, Sprint knows nothing about this phone number or company and there is nothing Sprint can really do about it.  The other phone numbers on my plan are also receiving calls from this number.  I definitely want this to stop.

I received this call every day almost every hour from 8:47 am til 10pm . No message and no one on the phone if I answer, and i want it to stop.

I received both this, and a caller listed as unknown every hour s****ing at 1pm, and ending at 9pm.  No messages ever left.  My phone lists it as an Illinois number however.

This number keeps calling my cell, but doesn't leave a message.  It's annoying.  The calls come through three to five times a day, and I want them to stop.

I just got a call from this phone number today at 7:42pm Eastern time.  No voice mail left.  I have no clue who it's from, but I'm in Columbus, Ohio if anyone is able to see some trends in call history.
