They called and asked for my son's birthday. I asked what it's about they wouldn't say, just asked a***n persistently for my son's birthday. Since they wouldn't tell me their company name or reason for their call, I ***g up on them. Bill collectors varify who you are by name only, say their name, their company name and try to get you to state that you owe X amount of money. This is so off & its rude too! Don't give any information!

It belongs to ICS Systems; a bill collector.  Basically they have automated dialers that call people.  As soon as you pick up the phone; they are suppose to connect you to an agent.  Those systems are called predictive dialers.  ICS Systems doesn't have the whole connect to a live agent thing down pat yet.Repeat bill collector using a predictive dialer.  What is a predictive dialer:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Predictive_dialers
