Received a text that said my account has back hacked... my gmail account and to reply with a number that I was given through the text when I receive a call. I have several accounts. I did it and it said account activiated. Logged onto my accounts and everything fine. Will email google to notify and warn others about what's happening.

I received a text today from them. As with Rebecca, they said my Google account had been compromised and to "text back CALLNOW to receive a call to reactivate your account". I did not. I have logged onto my Google account without a problem.

I received a text from this number stating that my Google account had been compromised and to text NOW to take a call to verify your account. I texted back NOW and then STOP and received this Activation #******: Please enter the verification code -**- when WE will call you. I texted STOP several times after that and received nothing. They called my phone from 202-***-8888 and asked for my verification code and I would not enter it. I tried to call the 848 number and it says the Google Subscriber you are trying to reach is unavailable...please leave a message. SO I am****uming they are spammer Scammers and I will get a charge on my cell bill for whatever this is.
