I called the FL AG's Office and was directed to the Consumer Complaint division that handles telemarketers. I spoke with an agent named Sean, who was both helpful and sympathetic. He asked me to fill out a formal complaint, which I did. The complaint form is located at:http://app1.800helpfla.com/cswebcomplaints/FileComplaint.aspxI suggest the rest of you do the same. As I wrote in my complaint, "This harassment is originating from your jurisdiction; I believe your office must act to quell it ASAP."

Same idiots calling Seattle, a pre-taped auto-dialer trying to sell me warranty service for a car I don't have. Like I'm going to drive my car 3500 miles to Florida for service? I tried ****ing up on them so I could *69 their number (no Caller ID), but they were still on the line babbling when I picked up the receiver a***n.I'm also on the Do Not Call registry.It's time we contacted the Florida Attorney General's office and had them track down these goons. Or, you know, find a couple of Lynn Haven-based goodfellas, and have them pay the ****s a visit.

We received a phone call identified as Lynn Haven FL. The Phone number was 850-271-8240. Received 1/3/08 at 1:06 PM, Pacific Time.  We were told that we could receive a lower interest rate, but it was not clear what this applied to.     I was told to press 1 to learn more.  Pressing 1 got no response.  I ***g up.Later I dialed the number given above and received a message: phone has been disconnected, is no longer in service.I did a search on the Internet and learned about a Lynn Haven Florida that advertised a Mall, real estate, various other interests.  My wife and I wondered if this might have to do with our credit cards or home mortgage.  I was puzzled.

I answered the phone "United States Goverenment Department of Consumer caller fraude tracking and enforcement"  and they haven't called back since.

Got a call 12/29 at 0944am. Answered phone but there was no response. Caller ID states Lynn Haven, Fl.

I received a call but no message.  What good is the no call list?  I think I am going to take the idea someone posted about ****ing a whistle into the phone.  I think I will keep a whistle handy.

I got a call from this number today.  They didn't say anything, just ***g up on me.  This is really ticking me off.  We're on the DO NOT CALL registry, we have no credit cards and no debts.  I'm tired of people calling my house and interrupting me on MY phone that I pay for.

Been receiving calls from 850-271-8240 for months.  All hours of the day and night.  I am on the NO CALL Registry too.  No messages ever left.

I LOOOVE the idea of ****ING A WHISTLE into the phone!!  Please spread the word, and let's all try this.  I deleted dozens of messages over the course of a year (usually Lynn Haven, FL number 850-271-8240, but always same message) and finally pressed one to speak to an operator.  Played the "I might be interested, what company are you with, may I speak to a supervisor please?" game for a bit, then they ***g up on me.  I am so sick of these calls.  I work nights, and I don't pay for my phone service just to wind up turning the ringer off to avoid scammers!

lynn haven fl - did not attempt call back

Received numerous calls from this number.  Pressed 1 and asked them to remove my number.  The guy just tried to continue to "sell" me.  I only responded with take my number off and he ***g up.  I called back immediately and got the "this number is not in service" recording.  I'm****uming that is just their message, not the real phone company.

Just got a call from them too!  I've had several calls from them...The number isn't working as of right now....1:10 15 Dec 07 CST

I reversed this number on Resvers Detective and it came up as from Lynn Haven Florida.I wasn't going to pay to find out more.

I received this call also and it was a recording from a "Heather" to lower interest rates on a "credit card" that had no problem. I googled the number and found this-then hit 1 to speak to someone that came on and asked if I was calling in reference to lower interest rates-I said I want to know who you are and why you are calling first-he ***g up!

Receive a call from this number at least 3-4 times a week. Never leave a message and when I call it back I get an operator...How do you stop this???

Got a call from this# today and pressed 1 to ask them who they were and to stop calling me and the man on the other end wouldnt tell me who they were and asked me why I had an at***ude so I just ***g up.  I reported them on the donotcall.gov but I doubt it will do any good.
