SCAM ARTISTS posing as the florida hwy patrol.

As I posted before I blocked 850-424-2609 ( EMI ) through AT&T using my touch tone phone.  It's been about a week and they have never called back.  They used to call at least 4 times a day every day.  Now I will try it on the other numbers these *****s try using.

EMI is a telemarketing company in Pensacola Fl. They call on behalf of other companies to try and get you to donate money for one cause or another.  If you talk to them and tell them to take your # off their list they will say they will BUT!!! They will only take it off for that particular company they represent.  If another company wants your money they will call right back.  I blocked their number today the 16th of Mar 2010 and will see if that helps.  Will post a***n if it works

Caller ID showed "EMI", but they didn't leave a message.Never heard of EMI.  It was on a Sunday, so theoretically it couldn't have been a collection agency

I get a call from this number several times a day, and have been for weeks so decided to put it intoGoogle and this page came up since all reverse lookups want money. What is this????May cancel my land line since Embarq allows this to go on.

Answered, then heard a **** up after 7 seconds.

Just got one.  Only said "Destin" and the phone number on Caller ID.  No one there when I answered.
