Leave a CommentGot a call from "Credit Call Services" this morning (Sa****ay) about 8:30 a.m. The woman asked to speak to my husband. I said, "Who's calling?""Denise," she said (or some random name like that)."FROM?" I said. "It's personal business," she said. I told her I didn't think so, and she said a***n she was calling about a private matter. I said I thought she was just calling to get personal information or try to get me to sign up for a credit card, and she said it most definitely was personal business. I told her I'm his spouse and she can talk to me. She replied that she couldn't and said a***n she was calling about a private matter. I asked her why her number showed up on caller ID as "Credit Call Services," and she said she was from U.S. Bank. We do happen to have two accounts with them, so at that point I thought maybe she was just a rude customer service representative from some company contracted by U.S. Bank. I said, "OH! I thought you were a SCAMMER! Sorry about that. You can speak to me about the account."But of course, she couldn't; a***n she said it was a personal matter. I decided she probably was a scammer after all, so I told her we've filed bankruptcy and asked if she wanted my lawyer's name and number. Lo and behold, she didn't. Hopefully the bankruptcy answer will get us off their list, though.
Ditto as most entries above, I am also on the DO NOT CALL LIST, but lately it seems I get an average of 1 or 2 calls every day or two. Most that I have gotten tired of and s****ed answering with the intentions of reporting them to the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY (If you can give them enough info, caller name, company name, etc.,.) I believe it read $1000 fine that the owner of the phone (us) gets. I got one lady to give me her name, and she was calling from CREDIT CARD SERVICES, I asked where she was located, and she said "Mama' we have offices all over the US" their purpose was to help lower my interest rates. I informed her, I have NO credit cards, and she ***g up. Another time a man called from CREDIT CALL SERVICES wanting to lower my interest rates, when I told him I had NO credit cards, he slammed the phone down, while I was trying to request they remove my # from their list.
Ditto! Most recent call was 2/27 10:35 AM. Like some of you, I don't have credit cards either. I was on the phone and they beeped in/caller ID said Credit Services(a***n)with the number 850-432-3928. Same as you guys, the recording does state they are calling about "ONE" of my credit card accounts with a high interest rate that I am paying on time and this is the last chance I will have to lower my rate (ACTING AS THOUGH THEY ARE ACTUALLY MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY -- WHICH RIGHT THERE - IS IMPLIED FRAUD) So I decided to click over and pretend I was VERY interested but was on the other line long distance and would try and get his number real quick to call him back and work with him. Wellll I got his first name STEVE. I played the role well. I did ask him which credit card he was calling about. He said he didn't have that exact info. I asked how did he know my interest rate and if I pd on time. He said the info came from several sources and blah blah-but I had him talking and convinced I wanted to work with him. But I said had to call him back "can I have your number real quick and I'll call you right back" he then asked me to verify MY phone number(yea right)and he would call me back at a better time. Told him not sure when-just give me your number-then he said if I called the MAIN number I wouldn't get him and he wanted to keep working with me. I said what MAIN number. I guess he knew then I was not giving up and said sh** and ***g up. I was online going to report the number but came here first and see that we all all over the country have had this happen many times to the same numbers. All on the do not call list. Sounds like they have the list and THOSE ARE THE PEOPLE THEY ARE BUGGING AND TRYING TO FRAUD THE MOST - THINk ABOUT IT??? SORRY, I TRIED.
850-432-3928 USUING SEVERAL DIFFERENT NUMBERS.
First off, I am registered on the government's "Do Not Call" list, so their solicitation is illegal on that count alone.Secondly, my number is unlisted. They are cold calling, and only identify themselves as "Credit Card Services." When I asked about which of my accounts he was calling specifically, the rude man replied, "Well YOU know your own accounts, don't you?" He was trying to get ME to give HIM information about my accounts. When I pressed him to be more specific, he yelled at me over what I was asking, "MA'AM! MA'AM!"THESE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO COMMIT FRAUD. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO.I told him to take me off of their "list" and that I would be reporting them for credit card fraud and trying to scam people. He ***g up on me.Yeah. So. Fraud. Phishing. Scam. Just watch out, folks. Guard your info nd don't give it out over the phone to people who call you out of the blue.
They never stop trying to call.
taped call credit card scammer
Another credit offer.
Will not stop calling. Everytime I ask to be taken off a list they **** up. Everytime I ask to talk to a supervisor they **** up. I have s****ed the process of the free offer and then asked a few hard questions they **** up. I lost my cool and swore like a one eyed carpenter and they pressed the key pad, laughed and said their was nothing that I could do about it and said they would be calling back and ***g up.
Keeps calling but never says anything.
