Leave a CommentThey called and pretty much threatened me with garnishing my wages, taxes, and "put a stop to processing my plates" on my car. They knew the make, model, and year. Said a complaint was filed with the city I live in regarding a payment that was setup (6.5 years ago) that supposedly never went through.
This caller called me on my cell phone and work phone. She identified herself as Tracie Jones a Compliance Officer of ________ County (where I work), said she had a warrant to serve me with and is contacting my employer and supervisor. She had the last 4 digits of my social, my home address, obviously knows where I work. I made a police report.
They said it is a debt collector and they gave me this and aked for a visa or master and $300 before 3pm today 10/11/18
