Leave a CommentAnd if they were a true debt collector you’d receive correspondence in the mail at your home address regarding the matter. Sheriffs offices do not hire a locator service to find you. They use the address in the paperwork as it was filed with your local court. They have their own people who locate people if necessary. They do not hire a locater service or legal advisers to harass people about a civil case being filed a***nst them.
Also if you do a google search of this phone # it provides no results. Also tried with name of company “Alliance” and the phone and nothing comes up. I do not believe this is a real company and really hope no one is providing personal info to them. What they are doing is completely illegal. If someone is filing a case a***nst you in your local civil court, then a sheriffs office would deliver any type of subpoena to your home address, not your place of employment. Also normal companies will gladly provide you their mailing address and number to corporate if you have a complaint.
I called a***n and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was advised that they could not provide me an address for their company unless I verified my info for them. They insisted that no one called them from their office. That they do not make outgoing calls. When I questioned why I had voicemails, and messages from my employer and parents with this number to call back if they don’t make outgoing g calls. Then I was told that is was a located service trying to find a daytime address for me to send some legal paperwork and they threatened that since I am at work during the day that they would be sending the paperwork to my employer address. I only work there 5 hours a week. When I repeatedly asked questions I was told that I was forfeiting my legal rights by not providing my personal info and that I would be served paperwork at my employer shortly. They now have blocked my phone number from calling the office.
They called and left a voicemail advising that they were trying to locate me for a case filed a***nst me in my local county court. They then called my employer and both my parents. They would not tell me who filed a case a***nst me and claimed the were all Senior Legal Advisers that were hired by my local State Compliance officer. They refused to give me any information because I would not provide my personal info to them. They told me the name of the company was Alliance.
