credit card phishing scammer claiming a card of mine had been compromised -- caller seemed suspicious so I hung up and called instead the fraud dept number on the back of my card -- they confirmed my card had Not been compromised and that this caller surely was Not a member of their fraud team but was apparently instead someone seeking to compromise my card. Sigh. No harm done save for the waste of time.
received a call from them and three text messages all at the same time pretending to be citibank. trying to complete my 350.00 charge to Stste of California. called Citibank and there was no pending charges and they did not contact me.
I suspected this caller was pfishing for my voice print.
