Final attempt about an account
Did you send text messages saying it's their final attempt to contact you to all blah blah scam
Received the following text message: “MYNAME (in caps) This is our office's final attempt to resolve your account. Please Reference JDR### and call us back immediately at 833-669-6840 Thank You” Finally called the number and was told me was John from ***dley & Weinstein (I think - he was hard to understand). But when I asked him to spell it, he asked me to verify my name. I refused and ***g up.

I received a text msg. with the same type of message that was mentioned before on this page, but I don't have a collections account. I am on the National Do Not Call List, so this is ridiculous.

Please Reference ******** and call us back immediately at 833-748-7773 Thank You” Operators with heavy accents say it’s a “collections agency“ and immediately ask for your personal information, including your SS number. I told them to take me off their list and they said okay (???). Seems fishy.
