They called me but when I picked up, no one said anything

This number texted AND called me. The text “looked” pretty official and claimed they were from Spectrum, that changes were made to my account and for me to respond via text or phone-call if I didn’t make those changes. Well …the thing is ….i have no Spectrum account so I knew it was SPAM‼️

I didn't answer. Thought it was spam. They don't have any reason to call me.

On 09-07-2022 I called 855-707-7328 who calls themselves Charter Services and charging my account $101.64. The Spectrum representative said that Charter Services is their Dept who does Billings. And the Payment they took out was for my new Spectrum phone and this was my “Mobile Service Fee”. I question the Spectrum representative then why they’re on a High SPAM Alert? He wasn’t sure, but he was guessing that it was ****ed Off customers were mad and made it so. And so, THIS IS NOT SPAM but a legit Spectrum Customer Service phone number. Enjoy! -Akola2

Fraudulent bank charges for spectrum $172 for one and another $190 some for another charge both from today. Earlier charge for $39.99 from spectrum also. Why my bank rejected the smaller one but not the other two idk. Charges were not charged by spectrum, per spectrum at a diff ph#. This is fraud.

I thought I was calling Spectrum to pay my bill. They had all of my info including my account balance. I made the payment 3 days ago. Today my bank account is empty with 4 transactions in 5 minutes . All transaction say Spectrum with the phone number 855-707-7328

Called me, caller ID said it was Spectrum, and they set up an appt. to come to my home and check equipment. Checked with Spectrum and it wasn't them who called !!!

fishing emails pretending to be spectrum saying that i owe 318.98 when I've never used or signed up to use there service and it's obvious that it's scam

Email indicated my "billing address" was changed and to call above tel. # if it had not been changed. I called Spectrum using a 1 800 # and they indicated that it was "spam."

I have no idea how they got my banking info but they made 16 transactions totaling 2,647.00 I contacted my banking fraud dept they gave me back my money and froze my acc to investigate

When you need to call for info like billing balances or Trouble with your Services Like For you Cable TV Your Home Phone(Landline) or Internet Cable. Look on you past Bill at the top for the Phone Number. Never get it off the Web page. Bad SCAM Numbers are floating around on the Web.. NEVER give Out your Address if they ask. They should ask you for your Pass code you were giving when you signed up for your Cable TV Internet or Home Phone.. always BEWARE.

I received a letter presumably from Spectrum saying my computer was infected with a botnet. I was instructed to download an AntiBot Scanner from Spectrum.net/security-suite. The phone number given for any inquiries was 1-855-707-7328. You see what comes up when you run that number. I will contact both the Geek Squad and Spectrum to verify validity. Scammers should be publicly hanged.
