Update on my previous comment. My ex said he thought he paid the bill. When I said I was going to contact Comcast to verify it was a real debt he said just give him the phone number and he will pay it. That tells me he did not pay it like he had previously told me. So I think they are just a collection company.

They said the are a collection company that was just****igned a debt from Comcast from 2 years ago. I did have an account with Comcast at the address they stated. It was at my ex boyfriend's house. When he shut off the cable he did not pay his final bill but I found this out back then and talk to him. He said he have would pay it and then said it was taken care of. The bill is for less than $115 so I know he could have afforded to pay it. I am trying to reach him to confirm that this is truly still an outstanding debt. I s****ed resear****g the phone number to verify that the company was who they say they are. Too many scammers out there. I do not want to give out my credit info without verifying who they are first.
