Leave a CommentI got a pop-up on my computer to call 855-790-7316 as my computer was "under attack". Ran my anti-virus software scan and it cleaned everything up. No need to call.
Got a pop up virus warning and was told to call this number. This is a very big scan
Got a dread blue screen full of different Windows error codes and a malware warning to not shutdown the computer and was told to call Microsoft "Technicians" at 1-855-790-7316. However having read the warning message closely, I noticed several oddities (like the old Windows icon, typos, improper wordings, ...) So****ing did not smell right. I called the number anyway and decided that they were NOT Microsoft even though they tried to convey otherwise and tried to remote access my PC. ***g up quickly. Then turned off my PC and rebooted. Everything came up OK. This is definitely a SCAM!

Got a virus warning and was told to call 1-855-790-7316. Of course the virus was for windows OS and I am operating other then that. I turned off the com and rebooted, every things OK. Seems to be a SCAM. Don't fall for it. Maybe contact Microsoft first to verify.
