Emergency Alert Message. Call back to hear alert.
Great service for emergencies in your specific area. I got notified at 02:43 about a tornado in the next town from mine! We rarely, if ever, have tornadoes in eastern Massachusetts. It worked great! It’s called “Code Red” and is a “voluntary service!” Why someone would “opt out” could cost you or your family injuries and or death. It is NOT Spam or a tele-marketer! Peace
I signed up for emergency alerts from Code Red for Weather and natural disasters. Voluntary opt in. Excellent service. Has an great Android app. Definitely not Spam for me.
Caller ID You will know the call is from us when your Caller ID displays 866-419-5000 or Emergency Comm for Emergency Notifications 855-969-4636 or ECN Community for General Notifications 800-566-9780 or Emergency Comm for CodeRED Weather Warning Alerts NOT SPAM ANSWER THIS IT MY SAVE YOUR LIFE!!
No one there when I answered so I googled it. How can this be local if they call all over the USA?
I got a call a few minutes ago. No answer so I looked it up. There was an earthquake this morning in Hanover NH. We heard it here about 40 miles north. Maybe the call had to do with that.
Not spam. Community emergency number.
Totally legit. They do not leave messages. They alert you of important things in YOUR area. For example, I got a code Red alert from them when the local ambulance exchange was having a DRILL at a local high school. They wanted to alert the community that it was only a drill as it would be taking all day on a Saturday. If they call and you do not answer, they will not leave a message. If you call the number back, it will tell you the time they called you last, and then it will play the message that you missed when you didn't answer your phone. Not sure why people think it's spam. ECN Community is NOT spam.
this is local emergency management system
called 3 times in 5 minutes. no messages
call several times in a row and never leave a message
ECN Community. called 3 times and left no messages.
Same number is used for all areas, this is an emergency notification number, it is not spam.
This is a reverse 911 service that local governments use to notify their citizens of important information.
Why would Skokie call Florida? Caller ID says "ECN Community."
From the WebKeeps calling and hanging up on me. North Carolina number? I'm in Los Angeles.
This is a local government automated system from the Village of Skokie, IL that informs the community that was caused by the severe storm last night that knocked down trees and power lines. ComEd is working on it, but over 300,000 ppl have no power. I was lucky that I am now posting cause mine was restored. Hope the best for the rest of the community.
