... read in article in NJ Monthly regarding how police charities are BIG scams.  Do not give.  99 cents of every dollar goes into the pocket of the guy calling (who is most likely a "disabled" 40 year old cop already collecting a pension of 75% of his $100,000. year + salary for the rest of his life!)Save your $ for real charity - give to foster kids or shelter pets or anything you believe in ... to someone who really needs the money - not someone who isn't working but makes more than you do !

I keep getting calls from them. I never answer but it said NJ FOP.I'v been blocking thier number on my Comcast Phone, but they call back on another number.856-295-5576, 856-295-5587, 856-295-5606, 856-295-5642.has anyone gotten another number from them, I'll block it too.Caller: NJ FOP

This phone number is calling to do fund raising for the New Jersey State Fraternal Order of Police. I have called the number.  It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there’s information on www.njfop.com, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for New Jersey police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.

Called before 8:30 a.m.  So I picked up to see who the *#&% woke me up so *#&$*#@)@* early when I was trying to sleep in.  Person asked for me by my first name.  Well ***ody should be calling me by my first name who's voice I don't recognize.  Fortunately, I have an answering ma****e that picks up on the 2nd ring (I rarely answer my phone - all I get are collection agencies and lawyer's offices because some*****&%# has been using my number for the past 6 years who apparently never pays their bills and creditors are too ****** to figure out this is not the number for DIANE JENKINS and the rest of her deadbeat family - but I digest), when the person heard the answering ma****e they ***g-up.  Needless to say I won't pick up my phone a***n (plus I'm ducking my alma mater, which I know is ***ting me down for a donation).  Someone says this is the Fraternal Order of Police - here's a tip never, ever donate to them, they will aggressively ***t you down for the rest of your life and will not take NO for an answer.
