Called to verify employment of one of my employees who is taking a new job with GEICO. The employee is a licensed adjuster and was employed by me since 2003.  I was merely asked to confirm that he did, infact work for my business. I was also asked my first name and last initial.That company is apprarently verifying information on the resume as submitted by the employee.  Looks completely legit to me.

Apparently the company is called Vertical Screen, they're a screening company for****ential employers to use to screen their****ential employees for more information on hiring them.

Got  a call from this number requesting verification of Employment.*********THIS IS A *****IN SCAM TO STEAL YOUR IDEN***Y!

called to verify a job application for a former employee.
