This is one of many scams.  People have automated mesages that sound just like verizon ones and they try to get you to send money via your checking account so they can rip you off.  Dont give them any information.  They are s***bags.  Verizon does not call you via a cell phone.  They call you from a landline.  This is a cell phone out of boston mass.  Probably a "burner"  tracphone.

Its Verizon wireless telling me that I did not pay my bill. I wait every month to get this call and retrieve the message prior to paying it.

I just got this call and googled it .. I found this page and it all made sense. I should probably s**** paying my bill, wouldn't you say?
