I have received several calls from this number. I answer and it's a recording; sometimes a man, sometimes a woman. all my tax file has been assigned to them (agent 1036) and there's still time for me to "take care of a couple of things" prior to the April 15 deadline. They then go into a long-winded spiel about how the IRS has now introduced several new features which could be very helpful to people in all situations, or something of that nature. They ask me to tap a number on my keypad, either 1 or 0 or something, to speak with a representative. it's 100% bogus. My wife and I have the accounting department from her company handling our taxes every year.
