857-998-6816 called and asked for me with my correct first name.  Then repeated with an incorrect, but close, last name.  Then said he had the wrong number and ***g up.

Yeah, same thing, they leave a message asking I call them back at some 800 number but say nothing about who they are or what they want...yeah, like I might call them back..*****s.. Like the others, an Indian sounding fellow.

This is some type of scam. The person asked the the receptionist for me with my name and last name. At that time the name and last name are correct. Then when I get the call transferred to me they pretend they got my last name mistaken by throwing a similar one and then **** up.

Same thing happened to me. A guy with indian accent asked for someone with my first name and wrong last name. I don't think this is a coincidence.

When I answered a woman with a british accent asked for someone with my first name but last name was incorrect.  I didn't tell her my last name and said they had the wrong 'Doug' and ***g up.
