Like the rest of you, just got a call on my mobile phone.  Rang once, that's all. I did not call them back to see who it was.  Probably a scammer, so I'm not opening myself up to them.  I'm in Texas and on the DNC list.

I wonder if they become  amused when they drink too much, make a rash of phone calls, then reference this site for a good laugh? I will leave this last note and never pick up a call from an unfamiliar area code a***n. I am on all do not call lists and on file with the PUC. Can't imagine why someone would waste valuable time calling random numbers? Uncle Freddie your ***** a***n, please put down the phone!

I just got a call myself from 858-429-4071.  It rang once and the ***g up.  What the heck?  Obviously this happening to a lot of people.  I'm blocking this!

I received a call (did not answer it!) from 8584294071 to my mobile pay-as-you-go.I've never had any contact or relationship with heycosmo, either direct or indirec**** is illegal to call cell phones for unsolicited advertising, surveys, etc.You can go to the web pages to block calls to a number, as described above by oncea***n, and that is all very well.But there is a check to make sure that you are the subscriber to that number.  That's understandable.  However, if my cell phone (and probably yours) receives a call, you will incur a charge.I'm sorry if I am missing so****ing, but why should I have to pay to have my number blocked from being called by some person or organization that I neither know nor have any dealings with?An unsolicited call is an unsolicited call.  It is illegal.   Unless we report such calls to the proper authorities, and the culprits are penalized, this kind of thing will continue.Citizens should not have to pay anything for this.

Same here ran once missed call registered,no VM. Called # back received similar "Thank you for calling HeyCosmo, please hold while your record is retrieved."  Then another "message want to save money blah blah press 1 " then just dead air an repeats. went to www.heycosmo.com to see if I could remove number from list but page under c****es???small print at bottom "Hi. This is a temporary page as we’re going through a refresh. Check back with us soon. Thanks" I would suggest if your number is already on DNC list then go directly to https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx if your number is on the national Do Not Call list. Be sure to enter your number that the company called, the company number 858-429-4071) and Arsinal Interactive, Inc. as the company name (seems to be HeyCosmo is just a service that Arsinal Interactive, Inc. holds the intellectual property right to provide). If not signed up with DNC Go block your number and report them to the national DNC list so if you get another Hey Cosmo call, report them to the better business bureau! These calls are from scammers in Ghana, Africa.  Make sure they don't have your email address or are not in some chat room somewhere.  Be sure you know whomever you're chatting with.

It just happened to me as well on my cell phone which is not a listed number anywhere.  I called the number back and it said so****ing like "Thank you for calling Hate (?) Cosmo, please hold while your record is retreived." Ten it ***g up.
