Leave a CommentThe Hearty House Doctor did a wonderful job on my house and they were very professional. So what if they use the phone to offer free inspections. Business is tough these days. At least they actually provide good service. By the way, they were the lowest bid with an "A" rating with the BBB.
I don't want a deal. I don't want anything at all from you idiots. You have ****ed me off with the constant phone harassment. So now you deal with me.
Give me address and i will come round and make you a good deal
I'm not stopping having you guys waste your gas money coming over for nothing. Hee Hee you deserve it. Enjoy
Be settled I am trying to run a business
Its seems they call me every other day. I have asked them to stop probably 10 times. But they keep calling. so know I say yeah come on over and then I don't answer the door. Then they call a***n and ask what happen. Then I say I am sorry come on over a***n. Maybe they will get tired of this routine like I'm tired of them calling.
They use 633 1098 and 1097 as well. Boiler room. Why are they still in business. Surely others have tried to get the FCC or other local agencies to shut this opeation down. When they call me they ask for Mr. B______. It is just a ploy to get me to s**** talking to them. I hate these unscrupulous creeps.. Where the***** is Channel 10 and all the other media types that could look into this??????
They called today, but did not leave a message. They've called previously. I work in the insurance industry and am very familiar with workers' compensation laws and the Contractor's State License Board. You can report them to the CSLB. Harty will probably claim that all of his employees are "independent contractors" however, unless each and every one of his "employees" hold a business license and a contractor's license, they are employees, not independent contractors. I would also report them to the Department of Industrial Relations. They will shut down his business and fine him every single day, and the fine is based on the number of employees he has. The hard part is, the employees will be out on the job, and if he doesn't provide the job locations, it will be hard for the DIR investigator to locate.Chances are he's paying them under the table and not reporting his payroll and taxes to EDD.
Public records show that Harty House Doctor is operating under CA contractor license # 824496 in the name of:JASON NOEL HARTYBusiness address:THE HARTY HOUSE DOCTOR INC9163 CHESAPEAKE DRIVESAN DIEGO, CA 92123Business Phone Number: (858) 278-5605It appears that Harty House Doctor is not paying worker compensation insurance since 2004 claiming they have no employees at this time. This company could be a one-man corporation that contracts all telemarketing and subcontracts all work. Or they could be in violation of worker comp, or CA records could be out of date. However, late last year Mr. Jason Noel Harty purchsed two industrial condos totaling 6,832 square feet in the Kearny Mesa Complex in San Diego for $1.4 million. Addresses of the units are 8981 and 8989 Complex Drive, Units 4-19 and 4-24. Better yet, call *their* office number at (858)278-5605 and provide your detailed opinion of their business practice. If you do engage companies list this, the process usually goes like this:* they push to get someone to your door for a free estimate asap.* the estimator comes to your house and agressively paints various color samples on the inside and outside of your house, chips off flaking stucco, etc. to "make a mess" that you need to get fixed.* Estimates are much more expensive than standard market prices... they usually pray on elderly folks. If you negotiate too much, they will move on to the ****ers who will pay full price.
It's an aggressive telemarketing operation for Hardy House Doctor in San Diego. My caller ID history shows 9 calls from them (some answered, some not) over the past few weeks. My number in on the various do-not-call lists. If you return a call to that number, you can press 3 and they say "in accordance with state law, your number has been placed on our internal do not call list. Allow 30 days for processing." I guess they will continue calling every week through the end of summer even though asked not to. ;-)
They just called me a***n the other day. It woke me up so I chewed the guy out about the do not call list and how I already told them to take me off their list. He just laughed at me and ***g up. I wish now I had gone along with the sales pitch just to catch them at so****ing. I filed a complaint at donotcall.gov and I'm resear****g other avenues.
They just called me on my cell, said "hello," and then ***g up. I could hear talking in the background.
Their actual name is Harty House Doctors, their web site is http://www.thehartyhousedoctor.com/ and you can find complete contact information for them on that site. I have filed 08-T00222806 with the FCC and registered complaint ID 6865237 with the San Diego Better Business Bureau.
Caller said her name was June calling from Hardy Construction and asked for my ***her by name. She said they were calling to set up an appointment for the inspection he requested. I told her my number is on the Do Not Call register and she said she was returning his call. My ***her is dead, and when I told her that she called me a bunch of names and ***g up.
Caller ID'd herself as June from Hardy Construction, and asked to speak to my ***her by name about coming out to do the inspecton he requested. I told her my number was on the Do Not Call registry, and she replied that she was returning his call. When I informed her my ***her was deceased, she called me a bunch of names and ***g up on me.
I just had same experience as Nancy. A man called from this number and he said he was calling from Hardy House Dr.
Same experience as Debbie in the list above. So glad that I did not answer the phone...I LOVE CALLER ID!!
just received a call from this number but no one answered, but looking at the recent comments I wont be picking up the phone for this numberthanks
I just had a call from this number and a man said they were Hardy or RD House Painting. He said they were working on homes in my neighborhood and calling people in the area to see if they want their house painted.I told him my number was unlisted and on the "do not call" list. I asked him where he got the number and he said they get them from lists of people who have bought homes recently. Well I have owned my home since 1992, so that was weird. He also calimed that businesses of a certain size are exempt from the do not call requirements and they have attorneys who****ured them of this. I told him it was not true and to look it up himself. Anyway, I asked him to remove my number from theri list, but I am resear****g them and will file a complaint if I can get enough information. I couldn't find them on the contractor's licensing board website, either.
Received call today. No one would answer, just background noise. Called the number back and get recording for Hardy House Doctor and purports to be a home improvement center for all building trades. Business located in University City on Chesapeake Dr.
The person who called me said she was calling from the "House Doctor" and asked me some questions about the exterior of my house such as how long ago was it last painted and if I have old aluminum window frames. She said she was calling everyone on my street to offer them a free inspection for maintenance issues. This was an unsolicited call to my cell phone during business hours.Be careful about giving personal information to these guys.
