**** TWC. They call all the time
Interestingly enough when you call TWC and ask them if they are calling they don't just flat out deny it is them. But if you call and have them put you on the DNC list, you can be added and even if they don't officially do this to you they have to honor the DNC.
SIX MISSED CALLS AND I CHECKED HERE FIRST. GLAD I DID, SO NOW I CAN KEEP IGNORING THEM. WHAT A NUISANCE.
Cannot get them to stop calling...when i pick up it's a robot saying to call back on a different number. When I call back the different number it is either busy or disconnects. 3 calls/day for the last week.
Same thing here. My contract was expired and they s****ed calling me consistently from 800-892-2253. Then when I cancelled my account, they s****ed calling me from 858-634-3068. I must say that my new, faster service (AT&T UVERSE), with new contract and cheaper prices is refreshing and TWC can eat it.
i just cancelled TWC yes****ay and i looked up this number today after 2 calls with no answer. seems to me i fit the mold.
Time Warner Cable trying to get me back after cancelling.
Received a call from this number, did not answer and let the answering ma****e do the work. Of course there was no message left just a bunch of noise. I cancelled my TWC the beginning of Aug. When I turned in my ma****es for the TV I told them then that I would bring in the modem whenenver I get connected with a different company. Two weeks later I took the modem in and they said that no one told them ahead of time that I would cancel the interne. So I told them that I could not afford TMC prices anymore, every month the prices increase. That is not costomer service. I am paying less than half for the cable, home line and internet with the new company. TWC is a big rip off. I am on the do not call list, but if I continue to receive calls from TWC I might just have to report them too.
I wish they would have said so****ing so I could tell them how I really feel! I put the nummber in Google and found this post. Time Warner Cable is incompetent! 1st I cancelled my cable order, then after many many more problems, I cancelled my phone. They can NEVER install anything else in my home and I would stronly advise they not call me!

They keep calling me and it's time warner cable. Like the other forum members, they s****ed calling after I canceled my service with them. They call and they say nothing. When I try to call back, no one answers or it gets disconnected. And when I miss the phone call, they leave no message. I really hate this.
I just received a call from this number and since it is a work phone I have to answer it. When I did it was a recording saying to call TWC and a number. I thought that was weird so looked it up. It is funny that only yes****ay I cancelled our TWC service, the cancel date is beginning of august, as work is transferring us. So I agree with other posters that it has to be TWC,
I am sick and tires of getting these ****** calls. What's the point for the idiot who calls?
I cancelled my service with TWC after receiving more then 10 calls in two weeks asking me to bundle my TV and Internet (the only service I was using), I asked them to put me on the do not call, I was I would not receive any more calls, but sure enough the next day I was called a***n, asked them not to call and that I was on the do not call list, their response was "Sir it could take anywhere from 24-48 hours to remove your number," my response was, "So you are telling me I could get called a***n tomorrow?" her response, " That is a possibility," I told her I will call you before then to cancel. I was then selected for an automated survey and let me tell you it was a good one. Later the same evening I was called a***n, needless to say my new provider can thank TWC for my business I cancelled the next day.
TWC is the only internet provider to the apartments in my area (South Plano) unless I get landline phone service, which I don't need since I use a cell phone as my primary phone. I just canceled my TWC cable internet service so I could move back to my parents this summer, so it seems likely based on the other comments that Time Warner is indeed responsible for this number. I let the call ring instead of answering it, the way you should always handle unexpected calls from unknown numbers :))

i missed a call, but when i tryied to call back the recording said the number was disconnected... it had only been 30 mins. *****!!
They said they were from Time Warner and asked if I had recently tranferred my account or if it was cancelled. First of all I cancelled and had already returned all of my equipment so they should know that I was no longer a customer. Second of all.......it's too late once I have cancelled to try and get me to come back. They also wanted to know who my new provider was and I declined to answer. It's none of their business who I have now.
