Says my Simmons bank is frozen. I don't have an account with them.

Claims my debit card is locked and to call the number. Verified it was not my bank contacting me. 100% scam.

Both my husband and I received 2 texts, minutes apart: Simmons Bank Debit Card Frozen Contact: 859-309-8201 We don't have a Simmons Debit card. Didn't call back.

The text says that my debit is locked and to call them at 859-309-8201. I don’t have an account with Centennial so I figured it was a scam right away. They sent two messages 30 minutes apart.

Text message said account closed and I don’t have an account with that bank.

Said debit card was frozen. When I called the number, the automated system site did not ID itself as my bank and said to enter my full card # (which real banks do not ever do over the phone). Called my bank directly, they said a major spam/hack was circling right now.

Did NOT open text, all that I could see was “FRM:Centennial Bank.DebtCLOSED Subj:Contact8593098201”. I made pic, searched #, found this info … then deleted text.

Claims that my Debit card is closed from a bank account that I no longer have, and haven't had it since 2018, yes it absolutely is a scam, I reported it to the FTIC
