Leave a CommentJust got a call from this # and the caller ID read "INSPIRED MKTG" it was a recording from "Heather" who wanted me to call about****entially lower interest rates on my su****iously non-***nded "credit card". I've gotten this same message before from a # with a 407 area code. Once I called and it was a guy on the phone who was asking for my credit card# a**** other personally identifiable info. When I asked what card it was for he said, "your Visa". Joke's on him because I don't have a Visa. Obviously a scam to try to get some personal information.
ITS SOMEONE CALLING FROM A PREPAID TELEPHONE CARD. PEOPLE OVERSEAS USE IT VERY OFTEN TO CALL LONG DISTANCE --ITS VERY POPULAR THERE. IT ALSO HAS LOTS OF PEOPLE IN THE USA USING THEM.
THIS IS THE NR. THAT APPEARS WHEN SOMEONE IS USING A PREPAID TELEPHONE CARD TO CALL YOU.MY BROTHER USES IT TO CALL MY HOUSE OFTEN.
Okay so****ing similar tonight. Same number came up on the caller ID --this crazy guy talking nonsense to me. He sounded like an older man. No real accent. He kept using my ***her's first name and kept going on about some story about this guy who was not born in this country. --What was wierd was he mentioned the state that we previously lived in, a city near where we used to live. He used the first name of my sister while he spoke with my husband. We ***g up on him but he kept this rant going about some guy having 5 years to live and this guy with the same name as my ***her's. I just summed it up as some mentally insane person or someone smoking too much *****.--Anyway--he had called 3x. I was worried that it was someone trying to scam us.
did not leave a message...probably some ****** dialing sequentially to try to run a scam
got a call asking for my husband by name, asked who is this, he said f____ you with an accent. I acted like i didn't hear him and said i would get my husband for him. he stated " this is your friend Kevin from NY, and I will see you at your place tonight". I found this call to be very strange since my husband dosnt have an old friend Kevin from NY. also my phone is not under my husbands name, so i wonder how they get his name with this number
My mother called me from Sweden, and this number 860-616-4046 came up, with the name "INSPIRED MKTG". This happened 3 times, and my mother's number isn't even close to this number. Also, when she spoke to me, she could hardly hear me and had to **** up and call back a***n. The fourth time she called, it was her normal Swedish number that appeared on our caller ID. I have no idea what this was, but I don't like it.
A man called from this number today. He wanted to buy a metal detector with a credit card over the phone. I explained to him that we don't take credit cards over the phone. He said he was calling from Ca***a and his wife would be in Connecticut this week. It sounded like a scam, so I told him we couldn't order a ma****e without a deposit and he would have to do it in person. He ended the phone call by saying there were three other dealers in Connecticut and he would try one of them.
Caller claimed to be calling from Ca***a. He wanted to buy so****ing with his credit card over the phone. I explained to him that we don't do that. He said his wife would be in Connecticut this week and would stop by to pick it up. I told him I couldn't order the item without a deposit. He said there were three other dealers in Connecticut and he would try one of them. Sounded like a credit card scam.
answered the phone to a very loud constant tone
left a ***** threat on my voicemail.
