received call to my cell Tracfone today April 30,2013 at about 12:30pm. I did not pick up as i was driving, left prerecorded message about police 'something' and need for home security system. what i truly need is a security system from calls like this. i also contacted FCC website to file complaint.

I always post all the information I can get from the call, by doing a reverse address search, and post it onlne then I add the number to my reject list on my phone

I have a 508 number just got call from this number, Im in MA... they left no voicemail.

They just called my cell. I never answer numbers I don't recognize. Eventually went to voicemail and the left a message about installing a security system. Spam!

In 727 area code and this call came in on my cell. I thought it was illegal to make these kinds of calls to cells!!!

Also a resident of Boston (seems they're trying to target this area after last week's events). Clearly a spam call and very annoying.

Auto-dialer said FBI recommends posting sign to help ward off criminals ... stopped the call before they finished.

I am a 617 resident also- seems to be a popular area code to spam today.

They keep calling wanting to install some bogus home security system. I'm on the national do not call list, yet they still call me, I ask to speak to a manager and they hang up on me, I tell them to stop calling me and I get hung up on or told they'll take me off their do not call list. It's getting frustrating and becoming an annoyance.

I have Boston/617 area code and just got this call too. Seeing the recent datestamps on this thread and another person mention they are in Boston, is a home security company trying to take advantage of the recent happenings in and around Boston? Smart but slimy.

I received call and when I called back it said that the call is a telemarketing call and that if i no longer wanted to receive or be interested in to dial any key. Did so but nothing happened ill see if they call again. they left no message.

I just received a call, didn't answer it because I didn't recognize it. After reading this page, pretty sure it's just spam!

Got a call from this number - recording started out telling me the FBI reports there is a... and then I hung up. They called me on a cell phone, which is a "minute phone" from Straight Talk and no one really has this number.

860-840-1428 6.28pm est 4-18-2013-- got call with no i.d. didn't answer...from other sites heard it was an unidentified home alarm dealer message. no i.d--. i don't answer to avoid being registered as a live/interested line. got same call i hour earlier on a land line-unrelated to the emergency only line- i thought! so no privacy-no longer...ah technology!!

Spam robo-call. Prob' selling security systems as mentioned below, as the call immediately mentioned the FBI. I have sent the info to my state's Consumer Affairs/Do Not Call division.

Even though I am on the state-wide AND national no-call list, they are telemarketers trying to sell a security system. When you answer, it is an automated spiel about crime and FBI reports...I have waited the message out THREE times to talk to a real person, each time I tell them to remove me from the list immediately. Still calling me 1 - 2 times per week.

They said I owe them money. I just laughed and made a tuna sandwich.

Had a missed call, and I think I've seen it before so, I *67 & called back, there's an automated message that says, "you've been contacted for telemarketing purposes, to be taken off the list press any key" soo I just hung up. "Any key" !? ...shady

Just received a call from 8608407438. I don't know anyone in the Hartford CT area so I decided not to answer. After viewing this site... I'm glad I didn't!

They just called my office in Boston and started with "the FBI reports". Not the best time to be calling Boston and starting off like that.

They Claim that they are from the FBI. trying to collect or something. I just get ****ed and hangup
