Let me s**** off by saying that this may have simply been a prank by one of my friends, but if so, ***ody's confessed yet.A month ago, this number called me about four times during the day, every day, for about 2 weeks. I didn't recognize it so I didn't pick up. Eventually, a message was left:"David, this is Mom; just leaving you my new cell phone number at 862 250 0005; a***n this is Mommy, I love you, call me!"My main concerns are that:a) I don't even know what state the 862 area code is.b) Although a woman's voice, it wasn't my mother's.c) I still live with my parents, so I know for a fact Mom didn't get a new cell phone.d) I rarely give my number out to anyone.So I finally decided to call, but I got the modem handshake. You, know, the static-y noises you used to hear when everyone had dialup and only one phone line and you pick up the phone while someone's online?Does anyone recognize the number?
