Sent me a spam text this afternoon, return number 856 470-8132. How do these ****s get private cell phone numbers? I am very careful to not give my cell phone number out to anybody but family and close friends.

Got a text too but knew was a scam. While scrolling through here, saw the post with all the websites info. Upon further research, found out that the USPS doesn't recognize the address given by "Ben Fuller", if that's his real name. So the info is probably bogus. Hopefully, if it is a GoDaddy site, they'll shut it down.

They are also using 862-228-5683 as their caller ID number. On 12/25/11 at 5:51 a.m., we received an unwanted, unsolicited spam text from 862-228-5683 with the following message: "You've been selected to Test & Keep the New iPad3! Confirm your spot right now at http://ipad3mania.us." If you are an AT&T customer, you can forward the text message to 7726. Since the FTC is providing no support for the DoNotCall Registry, I've given up trying to report these on their website. I received a text saying "Congratulations You've been selected to test and keep the new iPad3 for Free! Confirm your spot now at http://ipad3madia.us" I am VERY upset it was a fraudulent text!

I got the message from 201.912.7287. Figured it had to be a scam if I wasn't being directed to an official Apple/MAC website.

I got a msg from 862-754-9858 saying the same thing about free ipad.

Yeah and Santa Claus lives in my closet. I am on the do not call list as well. It is criminal....so****ing real and seriuos and legal should be an option.

Received a similar text message from 551-208-2547 at 1:17 am. Woke me up in the middle of the night and couldn't go back to sleep (thinking it was a legitimate, urgent text from a family member or friend until I read the spam message). My cell is on the national "do not call" list so I need to determine whether laws were broken here. We need special prisons for hackers and spammers where there are no computers. The best torture and punishment for them would be to have to communicate with other humans without using a keyboard or keypad.

definitely a spammer. about ten or fifteen pop-ups tried to convince me to fill out the survey when I tried to shut it down.
