I called the listing and selling agent. They both confirmed that he was NOT the new homeowner. The trick is that they try to get you to cash a cashiers check. Somehow, that's where they get you.

The house didn't just see. He would send a check for 50% upfront. Then rest at the end. The major catcher was the paint would be delivered. Sherwin Williams is 40 minutes away. Don't deliver.
