This is a scammer who also uses a 876 number and an 757 number. They have scammed my dad out of thousands of dollars pretending to be a sweepstakes company

I received the exact same text as a poster above "*****o my name is timothy johnson. I want lessons for my daughter she is 12 years old, pls text me the cost of 1 hour per day total of 10 lessons in a month" The whole conversation by text was strange. Now he wants my address to FedEx a check. What's the deal???? Please, I need more detail!
