Called my cell phone. It was a recording. Said "if it was me press 1" but the service ***g up before I could. When i called right back, it said hold for the next rep and the call could be monitored. Or enter the ext. WTH????? It was 7pm!

so I've been getting calls from this number and I never answer if I don't know the person but I was annoyed so I answered and they had some "paperwork that came across their desk" with my husbands name on it. They were unwilling to tell me who they were or what kind of paperwork it was. The name she gave me was Alexis Griffen and return #

Got call from these people, telling me they better hear from me, then when i clled back i spoke to shaprero, and he was stateing i refused to take care of this, first Zi don't even know who this is, second i called back and then talked to a montgomery who was even ruder, when wanting to speck to his supervisor i was told he was it and that was all i was going to have, so i cursed him out. and i called back and still have no ideal who these people are, but they are leaving personal information on a friends phone, what happened to hippa.

I don't owe anybody.  Why are they calling me?

After calling number twice, caller refused to identify company as anything other than CRA. Very obstinate.

Caller claims to be from some outfit called C. R.****ociates, looking for me and they have important legal do***ents concerning taxes I'm unaware of. 'cuse me? ***?

Oh, and I have to laugh b/c why on Earth would anyone send MY legal do***ents to a city and state that I do not even reside in!  Even if it was a creditor and they were going to sue me over a debt - I still would be the one receiving the legal do***ents - not a 3rd party collection agency.How ****** do some of these companies think people are?!KNOW YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT - http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre18.shtm.

They are C&R****ociates.  I did not have time to speak with them as I was at work and thought it was someone else.  They told me I had "legal do***ents" that were "very important" and that "a partner" wanted to speak with me.  A quick google search will show you that they are a "junk debt" collection agency that has repeated violations of the FCRA with the FTC.  I found some helpful information from this link, which I am not trying to advertise or whatever - but it was helpful in the event you get a telephone call from them - http://www.banklady.com/Consumer-Recovery-Associates-scam.asp

No message left. Probably a scam/debt collector. Number is now on auto-reject in my phone

They are a debt collection company , with to much time on their hands since no one can affordt to pay off debt   =)
