This number calls me at all times of day and ****s up

To add to everyone else.. they call at least once a day and today, I had a voicemail from this number.  No one spoke, simply played rap music for 15 seconds or so then disconnected.  Gannett is a publisher I'm familiar with, they own the local newspaper in Asheville, NC, but they have no reason to call me, I've never given out my number, it's unlisted.  They will be getting a call tomorrow at the local number.  For anyone else http://www.gannett.com/web/newspapers.htm maybe you have a local paper owned by these people.  Good luck...

This number has been calling me 1-3 times per week for the last 4 months. Like everyone else, they **** up when I answer and when I call back, they don't subscribe to voicemail service.  This is ridiculous.

I also get daily calls from this number. I put my landline and my cell phones on the do not call list. Maybe this will help.

They call our house at least three times a week. When we pick up, they do not say anything. Caller ID registers them as Gannett N.

Gannett Newspaper is how it is displayed. They call 2-3 times a day, EVERY time I answer they **** up. Call Block from AT&T doesn't work on this number.

I called the number back and got a voice mail message that this number does not subscribe to voicemail, we will connect you to the operator, and then it rings but just goes back to the original not subscribe voicemail.

I've added my number to the National Do Not Call Registry. Try it a***n *Newsouth Communications, AKA Jackson Sun, AKA Greenville SC* and you're going to get sued.

This number calls every day for months.

Over 10 calls by this number in less than a week. They call and **** up. Today I picked up and didn't say anything. They stayed on for a few seconds and then I finally asked who this was. My reply was "Your Momma", and then ***g up. I am sick of this. AT&T will not do anything about it and are trying to get me to subscribe to their blocking service. If I didn't know better, I would think that it was the phone company scamming me into that service!

I have received 9 calls on my cell phone from this number in the last 7 days. They never leave a message. When I try to call them back, I get an answering service for The Greenville News but I'm not given the opportunity to leave a message, It says "This number does not subscribe to this service"

Have received several calls from this number. Usually leaves a "voicemail" that is garbled and then quickly ****s up. Do not know who they are, they just waste voicemail ****e.

I have gotten my 3rd ****-up call within 1 week. I do not live in Jackson nor do I want to be bothered with a newspaper subscription! It's extremely rude to **** up on someone with whom the solicitor calls. Enough already! I tried calling the phone number and it says no one is available. P hooey!

864 is a south carolina area code. howevever , i am unfamiliar with gannet , as of yet. i hope they die miserably , unless its about an inheritance!

Someone from this number, whose name shows on my caller ID as N Gannett, calls my home 3-4 times a day, every day. There is never anyone on the line. I called the number and it is The Greenville Newspaper

This number calls me very early in the morning, late at night, and on weekends when I can sleep in... and they call!!!! It comes up on my caller i.d as Gannett Newspaper. I call back and it claims that the number does not accept calls, and will endlessly foward me to that statement. It's driving me nuts, and they consistently call up to eight times a freaking day!!!

No one has my cell number, but my child. How did they get my number and why are they calling me?

I have repeatly asked not to be called by these people that I do not want their paper. I work at night and sleep in the daytime. I am now receiveing calls and they are letting it ring one time and ****ing up. I have told them at least ten times I do not want to be called.

I just got a call from this number... I answered it as it stopped ringing and no one answered. I didn't call back.
