I got a call from 864-990-5813.  The young lady on the phone indicated that she was from CRA Consumer Recovery****ociates. I asked if she had a return number (877-243-5126) I asked if she was a debt collector.  She said no.  She just was given my number to call and her supervisor needed to talk to me.  So I let her transfer me.  Her supervisor answered by saying "how can i help you?"  I replied, "how can i help YOU?"  You called me.  She asked what number I was reached at.  I responded with what is the name of your company.  She ***g up on me.

I got a call from CRA -- 877-241-7414 or 864-990-5813. Tried to call them back and get their address and information.  They would not give it up. I checked my credit report and found so****ing placed for collection.  The company listed on the Credit Report was Genesis Financial Solution and their address is 8405 SW Nimbus Ave, Suite A, ******ton, OR 97008-7185 and their number is 888-615-8762. I put two and two together because I have never had a collection before.  Turns out they had the wrong person.  The person they were looking for had the same First Name and our SSN's were almost the same with the exception that the two middle numbers were reversed.  If you are receiving phone calles and would like them to stop, then send them a "Cease and Desist" letter.  You can find a Sample letter on the internet on how to write it.  (Google Cease and Desist letter) Be sure to send it via Certified Mail with a RETURN RECEIPT REQUEST.  Once they receive the letter, and you will know when you get the return receipt, they cannot call you a***n by law. You might want to check you credit report to see if you have the same company information that I did. Also be careful filing a lawsuite, I am not sure how it all works, but it seems like that is exactly what they want you to do.  Maybe so they can counter sue you.
